The 2026 calls under the Research Infrastructures programme of Horizon Europe have been officially launched. A total budget of €294.9 million has been allocated to support research and innovation projects across 12 topics structured under four main destinations.

The 2026 calls are organised under the following destinations:

INFRADEV – Consolidation and development of the European research infrastructures landscape (7 calls)

INFRAEOSC – Support for the European Open Science Cloud (EOSC) ecosystem (2 calls)

INFRASERV – Providing services enabling access to research infrastructure facilities in areas such as health, climate and energy (1 call)

INFRATECH – Development of next-generation scientific instrumentation, tools and digital solutions for research infrastructures, and strengthening innovation and cooperation with industry (2 calls)

Researchers planning to apply to these calls are encouraged to follow the information activities organised by the European Commission. In particular, applicants are advised to watch the pre-recorded Info Day presentations, submit their questions via Slido by 11 March, and participate in the online Info Day event on 18 March, where experts will address questions live.

Active participation in these discussions, especially through submitting questions via Slido, is important to increase the visibility of researchers from Türkiye in this highly competitive and specialised field.
